Hadith
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.”
Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari (6018), Sahih Muslim (47)
A Short Story for Kids
Once there was a boy named Zayd. One day at school, his friend made a mistake and the whole class started laughing. Zayd wanted to laugh too, but then he remembered something his parents taught him:
“Always speak good, or stay silent.”
Instead of laughing, Zayd said something kind:
“It’s okay, everyone makes mistakes.”
His friend smiled and felt better. That day, Zayd learned that kind words can heal hearts, and silence can save us from hurting others.
