Pillars of Islam

There are 5 Pillars of Islam

1. Shahadah (Faith / Declaration)

It means declaring that:
“There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger.”
This is the foundation of Islam — believing in the Oneness of Allah and in Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as His final messenger.

2. Salah (Prayer)

Muslims pray five times a day — at Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha.
Prayer keeps a Muslim connected to Allah and reminds them to stay away from sins.

3. Zakat (Charity)

Muslims must give 2.5% of their yearly savings to help the poor and needy.
It purifies wealth and spreads kindness and equality in society.

“Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua”

4. Sawm (Fasting in Ramadan)

During the month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset — avoiding food, drink, and bad deeds — to develop self-control and piety (taqwa).

5. Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah)

Every Muslim who is healthy and can afford it must perform Hajj once in their lifetime.
It is performed in Makkah, showing unity and equality among all Muslims.
